Surface Preparation

The surface must be solid, clean, dry, grease-free, and most importantly, smooth (ideally sanded and wiped with a dry cloth).
Remove glossy finishes and intact paint layers.
Avoid uneven or highly absorbent surfaces. Use a suitable primer if needed.
Suitable for stone, wood, hard plastic, and metal.
New dark surfaces should be evenly pretreated with a suitable (white) primer to avoid needing multiple layers of SketchPaint.

General Information

SketchPaint turns virtually any smooth surface into a writable whiteboard surface.
The smoother the surface, the easier it is to erase writing or drawings.
Simply wipe with a soft cloth or whiteboard eraser.
Stubborn marks can be removed with a damp cloth or whiteboard cleaner.

SketchPaint is a water-based, two-component paint based on PU-acrylate.

Storage

Store in a cool, frost-free place in a sealed container with good ventilation.
Keep out of reach of children.

VOC Content

EU limit for this product (2004/42/EC, Cat. JWB, 2010): 140 g/l
This product contains 0 g/l VOC. Complies with EN71-3.

Application

Do not apply at temperatures below +10 °C or relative humidity above 80%.
Apply generously.

Application Instructions

• Before painting, check the surface for dust and irregularities.
  Uneven areas will remain visible after painting. Wipe clean with a dry cloth.
• Pour the hardener from can A completely into the paint in can B. Stir thoroughly.
• Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes until most air bubbles disappear.
• If needed, dilute with up to 3% clean water.
• Use within one hour!
  Since the paint dries quickly, avoid reworking with a brush or roller.
• For best results, apply a thick layer.
• Remove painter’s tape within one hour of application.
• Use a short-pile, fluffy roller (tip: remove loose fibers with tape beforehand) or a very fine foam roller.
• Clean tools with water and soap after use.
• Theoretical coverage: up to 3 m² per 0.5 liter.
• Drying time: Not tacky after approx. 4 hours.
• Writable after 3 days.
  Use whiteboard cleaner regularly to keep the surface clean.
