Product description
Magnetic Primer for All Colors
This primer can be applied to walls or any smooth surface (such as doors) and can then be painted over with any color of your choice—while maintaining its magnetic properties.
Coverage: 0.5 L per square meter.
How It Works and What It Does
The concept is simple: iron powder is mixed into wall paint, allowing magnets to stick to any painted area.
Every surface becomes magnetic. You can attach sketches or photos with magnets—no need for tape or thumbtacks.
Children can play with magnetic figures, magnetic games, or arrange letters.
Your entire wall can become a giant magnetic board. Or use the system to display your sneaker collection on magnetic shelves.
Application in Just a Few Steps
- Stir thoroughly
- Apply 2–3 coats
- Finish with a top coat in your desired color and design
Detailed Instructions for Optimal Preparation
Note: If you want a smooth surface for chalkboard or whiteboard paint (e.g. SketchPaint), apply it as the final layer.
- Prepare a smooth surface for painting.
- Stir the paint thoroughly until it has a uniform consistency (iron particles may settle during storage).
- Mask off adjacent areas with painter’s tape.
- Use a short-pile roller for the first coat.
- Apply the paint in approx. 40 × 40 cm squares. Roll until the surface is smooth.
Optional
After the first coat (1–3 m² depending on the tool), let it dry until darker and lighter areas appear.
Then gently smooth the surface with a window squeegee or trowel—without removing the paint.
Clean the tool with a damp cloth after each pass. Streaks may be visible, but after the third coat the surface becomes very smooth.
- Allow at least 4 hours drying time between coats.
- Repeat step 4 twice.
- Before applying the top coat, let it dry for at least 24 hours
(Drying time may vary depending on humidity and room temperature).
Important
Use at least 0.5 L of magnetic paint per square meter.
Using less may reduce magnetic strength.
